Safety, will help ensure that you and your family have an enjoyable and
safe summer on the water.
Get a FREE Courtesy Check from a CPS Boating Safety Specialist and
verify that you have all the required safety equipment on board.
Look for a qualified CPS person at your marina or email info@portdalhousiecps.com

The Deadline Has Passed!
VHF Radio Course ROC(M)

Everyone who operates a VHF radio aboard a boat in Canada must be licensed. This two night course will include a text book, instruction, written examination and oral examination.
If you are upgrading your marine radio to include DSC you need an endorsement to your license. The "DSC Endorsement Upgrade" is available and includes the Module 2 book and exam.
Courses are available throughout the fall and winter if their is sufficient interest and intsructor availability. There
are a limited number spaces for the course so it
will be a first registered selection.
Registration will be done on-line. Click here: On
Line Registration
It would be preferable to pick up the course material ahead of time,
along with the training CD, as there is study material that has to be
covered. Particularly the Alphanumeric Alphabet. Material can be picked
up at St Catharines's Marina by prior arrangement (ie call first)
